Sales assistant

You’ll be reporting directly to the founder and mainly working with him.

You're expected to have:

  • Fluency in English and Czech,
  • Outstanding communicational, organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to learn fast, be quick-thinker and problem solver.
  • Greet and direct customers
  • Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing). Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services. Inform customers about new arrivals and offers
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases and send notifications
  • Prepare and serve drinks at the coffee car
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked
  • Manage returns of merchandise
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Flexibility to work over selected weekends

Assistant to the Founder

You’ll be reporting directly to the founder and mainly working with him. You're expected to have:

  • Fluency in English and Czech,
  • Outstanding communicational, organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to learn fast, be quick-thinker and problem solver;
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information;
  • Passion for entrepreneurship a plus;
  • Onboarding new clients/brands,
  • Acting as a main contact for the brands; maintaining relationships, handling the requests made related to invoices, orders, and other documents,
  • Serving as the point person for the whole store team
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with the rest of our team to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer/brand behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Track daily expenses and prepare monthly or quarterly reports,
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of brands, products and services.
  • Resolving bottlenecks and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements
  • Communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly operations
  • Preparing reports on account status,
  • Performing payout calculations,
  • Issuing invoices and communicating with the clients,
  • Collaborating with sales team to identify and grow opportunities,
  • Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Collecting information and visuals from the brands to create brand micro websites under Shop Up Stories,
  • Creating, managing, updating collections, products, brands we offer.
  • Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
  • Assisting with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages
  • Collaborating with brands and the store team to ensure the rollout of website changes.
  • Working on tasks to increase the online presence of our website.
  • Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and arrange stock requirements.
  • Helping on e-store related communications, newsletters, notifications
  • Helping with sales events that will take place in the store and online.
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
