We are proud to introduce you to the great coffee from Bulambuli Station. It is a new washing station, built in 2021 in an area that we know has amazing coffee and great potential. The station is located in the eponymous town of Bulambuli in eastern Uganda, close to the border with Kenya. Coffee is grown on the slopes of Mt. Elgon at an altitude of around 2000 m.a.s.l. m and are mainly SL varieties. The station is run by Ben Mukhone, instead of an entrepreneur who teamed up with the export company Ibero and together they built this new project. The station buys coffee from local small producers.
since this is the first vintage of coffee from this station, we selected the first two lots of washed coffee. You will have the opportunity to taste one roasted for espresso and the other roasted for filter. These washed coffees are processed in the traditional washed way, which means that the parchment is fermented in tanks of water after peeling, and then the beans are dried in a well-ventilated parabolic dryer.
