Slowly and brightly burning beeswax candles clean the air naturally and create a pleasant atmosphere. Unlike paraffin candles, which are made from petroleum-based wax and contain harmful substances, beeswax candles are non-toxic and burn cleanly.

The candle is made from 100% beeswax and a cotton wick. The wax is coloured with natural pigments.

The production of soy, paraffin and palm wax involves a chemical intervention to modify the raw material into a wax mould and then into the candle. Beeswax is used in its natural raw state. The wax is cleaned by hand using water and a sieve. As a result, the wax may contain microscopic particles of honey, pollen or propolis, which give it a beautiful honey scent.

These particles also determine the colour of the candle, which can vary from light yellow to brown.

In colder climates, white maps may form on the candle. This is the so-called wax flower, which is a sign of the authenticity of the wax. This bloom is removed by gently warming the candle, e.g. by touching it.
