DESIGN: Simple is fun!

The red umbrella is a minimalist & playful toy for toddlers. We turned it upside down, we painted it bold red and made it swing in order to offer endless hours of creative and imaginative play. With a playful look, an everyday object for adults is turned to a fun and challenging toy for toddlers!

Stack the weather elements on the umbrella, find the balance and make it swing! It is an open-ended and educative toy that stimulates imagination, exercises fine motor and cognitive skills and gives the opportunity to parents to explain to young curious minds "where does the rain comes from" ?

About imaginative play and it's importance

Imaginative play is a kind of open-ended, unstructured play with no rules, goals or result- except that kids learn a lot along the way. According to Sally Goddard Blythe, the importance of imagination in all areas of child development cannot be overstated. "This kind of play allows children to tap into their creativity and really run with it, without any boundaries, in a way that is very freeing".
